Yes, I suppose it could have gone either way if the Cu price continued its downtrend at the time of the purchase. Luckily for EVN, the global Cu price recovery basically commenced a couple of weeks after the recent Cu Mine purchase which has helped the share price recently since the CR. Gold is obviously the main catalyst too, which has gone from strength to strength as I predicted. The Cu price has killed me in recent years, and I am well down on my one Cu exposure stock - AIS so I was reluctant to join the raise, with it linked to a Cu project. Not getting involved looked like a wise decision when I was a few cents away from my order getting hit well below the raise price, but I just missed out, so now not getting involved in the CR is a poor decision. It is all about timing sometimes. Well done on making the call and getting involved.
