Great thread and article. But anyone arguing this surplus has anything to do with Labor are just plain stupid.
Their own October budget projections had an underlying cash deficit, this is akin to Chalmers picking up a winner in the last at Flemington after losing all day and acting like the winnings were all part of his plan

What is annoying me more lately is the media don't even pursue the same line of questioning in regards to all this.
Well if one party don't put in and the other party do well it is just real time falsifying the bottom line.
Simple, take that figure out as before and their is a more realistic figure of the budget and anyone that argues that point is not worth listening to.
