Environment related stocks Several environment related stocks are now showing both a significant growth of their revenues and a good profitability. In particular Environmental Group (EGL), Scidev and Vysarn. Logically, they have been rewarded by a strong share price performance. However, EGL had a negative organic growth (- 5 % for H1 24), unlike the 2 water related companies. Main interest of EGL : the company claims that it has now 50 % of recurring revenue, much higher than the 2 water related companies.
Calix, which used to be the star of the sector, had a large correction : after reaching a pick of 8.90 $ in 2022, it has now a share price of 1.42 $. The explanation is probably about the lack of profitability for the company.
