Zhengying Pan and Paul Sprengeler took less than 2 hours to design the world's biggest selling BTK inhibitor. It is with certain that the IP was very well protected but not long after, the Dutch came up with another BTK inhibitor and that became a better one being safer and less side effects.

Can some bright spark out there, another Pan, Sprengeler or Ong, come up with another alternative CPAC small molecule ? Throw in a bit of luck for them, could they beat us to the market or reduce our competitive lead time ?
