“When I first heard of AGY it was in the high teens/low 20s, but it was obvious a CR was going to be needed to fund the 2KTPA plant. That CR crashed the price to 13c which is where I bought my first parcel, and it then dropped below 10c”
You forgot the part about the share price being well below 7.5c for most of 2020, until the brief spike that occurred just before that CR.
The chart is below:
The trading halt occurred on Feb 4th 2021.
That is shown by the arrow in the chart below (note the 2 “missing” candles while the co was in the trading halt).
Those are daily candles btw.
The price was 16c at the time.
Trading resumed on Feb 8th.
Price went up to 19c that day, then on to 20c, before dropping again.
So, you “first heard of AGY” within 10 days prior to that trading halt…. Then first bought 6-7 days after trading resumed, when the price dropped to 13c.
Look at the chart again.
Is it really that surprising that there was a decent pullback, regardless of the CR, after the price rocketed from 7c-12c, and then again from 12c-20c, in such a short period of time…?
People can judge that for themselves.
Important to have the details, imo.
Oh, and speaking of details, it’s worth looking at a comparison chart of the usual suspects at that time also, just to see what was going on in the sector:
Hmmm…. Very interesting.
Very.
Interesting.
Oh, and as for your continued narrative of effectively “get out while you can because the price will drop when a CR lands and you can buy back cheaper”….
Well, the fact is that no-one here knows what might happen to the share price between now (or whenever you started pushing that narrative) and when a CR might be announced, no-one here knows what the price of the potential CR will be, and no-one here knows what will actually happen to the price after that time.
Your fearmongering scenario of doom relies on the sp not moving up until a CR occurs, the CR being at a significant discount, and the price dropping to/below that level immediately after.
You are simply guessing and parroting that guess in desperation to trigger others to sell, imo, so you can buy back in as cheaply as possible.
This is clear as day, imo.
