Whilst that is certainly an observation , its only one perspective on a very intricate and sometimes complex trading view.

Firstly ,and with respect to the volumes, it should be noted that the traded volumes despite the inherent value was 28.2% higher on the day than the average traded over the previous 30 days.

The other points to mention are in respect to the spreads as mentioned.

So not only did the ticker trade in a ' leading ' 32% up range on 28% more volume , its also worth mentioning that the leading price maker on the close and throughout the day was none other than the illustrious and very historically aquisitvie hedge fund and original FIRST clearing members of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange being the hedge fund and commodity futures trading desk operator StoneX Financial Group ( Foremely FCStone ).......and who is headed up by the equally illustrious and ambitious Sean O'connor. Interesting to note that StoneX is renowned for the fact that 30% of ALL ADR's traded in the US pass through their trading desk team. So they are an important ' Market & Price Maker ' to take notice of when reviewing this trading information and data.

So they closed sitting on the BID with 453,332 at 3.7 cents ( AUD 5.5 cents ) for US $16,773.28 ....., or almost HALF again the amount you mentioned on the BID. And they also sit as the best OFFER behind 10,000 units from old mission at US 3.9 cents ( AUD 5.8 cents ) with another large parcel of 440,945 for US$17,196.86.

Interesting that our own beloved Canaccord Genuity sits on the BID AT 3.49 cents with 10,000 , but is lined up on the offer with only 10,000 at US 5.0 cents ( AU 7.5 cents ) behind the Kenneth Cordele Griffin lead hedge fund Citadel Securities who sits at on the BID with 20,000 at US 3.5 cents , but has the next biggest near the market offer of 170,000 which is also at US 5.0 cents.

So all of this augurs well for the SP to breach the 6.0 cents and hit 6.1 - 6.2 ( or even slightly higher ) come Monday's trading session here.
