The United States is expected to announce next week that it will be increasing tariffs on Chinese EVs (and certain other Chinese imports) from 25% to 100%.
If this occurs, it is almost certain that China will retaliate. If China chooses to retaliate against the USA with additional REE export restrictions, the price of magnate REEs could soar. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.
