Well apart from being the most corrupt country in Europe, Ukraine was already a sovereign independent country. That is up until they started killing their own citizens because they had close ties with Russia ie. language and culture, following the US backed coup in 2014. That and the threat of NATO lining the Ukraine/Russia border with weapons aimed at Russian cities.
So now the US/NATO/GB/EU proxy led by that idiot Stoltenberg have destroyed the country, lost ground and caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people leaving Ukraine in an extremely weak negotiating position.
Does it go without saying that the US have taken off with Ukraine's gold? I'd say they would have taken it as a downpayment for all the "help" they have given them.
