you think by the end of 2028 gold will be above AUD$4,000 ?? and will CASH transactions still be LEGAL by than? when selling back to a gold dealer will they pay you in cash or will they legally have to wire you the money? in 5-6 yrs anything can happen, if things really go belly up in the next 5 yrs, the govt could ban gold dealers like in argentina they forced all gold shops to close, but i suppose if they did that they would force the gold ETF to delist too im guessing.
