I doubt it. Nothing ever goes up 50% in a month unless it's a company that struck oil or there's a takeover etc.. Why would gold go up 50% in the next month? There's no shortage of the stuff, all the gold ever dug up is still here.
All natural resources are on the way up. It happens occasionally.
