Yes, PLS have said POSCO hydroxide is high quality, however that is at pilot and not at scale yet. Has POSCO's hydroxide been qualified by end users?
Note that I am not against the POSCO JV, what I'm against is the level of tonnes attributed to PLS and the associated capex. Also, PLS being a minority partner is the JV is not ideal, thus no say in potential expansion, etc.
Yes, expertise is a worry, but it's not impossible. I'm impatient, and thus want the company to put forward it's downstream plan, yesterday, they need to move soon, given a 2 year window to build out that capacity.
