I think you spent too many days at propaganda school, that you no longer is able to read and comprehend what is written.
It states "establishment IN Palestine a National Home for the Jewish People"
That is the National Home for the Jewish People would exist IN PALESTINE; not replace Palestine. That is like, an autonomous region - similar to what the Soviet Union did (Jewish Autonomous Oblast).
That was the intent of the British - to provide for a National Home for the Jewish People IN PALESTINE.
Palestine already had people living in it. And later would have its own Constitution, Elections, Elected Lawmakers (including Christian and Jews), Borders, Citizenship.
Why would the British help the Palestinian setup all these things (Constitutions, elections, etc etc etc), if they were going to give the Land away to the Jewish People, replacing the Palestinian?!?
In fact, they (British) didn't have that right. That was NOT their mandate.
Nonetheless, a National Home for the Jewish people IN PALESTINE was NOT enough for the Zionists. They wanted their own STATE.
That's why they attacked the British, UN envoy and Palestinian, in order to drive them out. The Zionists were the TERRORISTS!!!
