Crazy world? ---------- well, it's the animal that's crazy.
Imagine this ----- that a group of people - reasonably minded people ---------- jumped into a space craft, when they left -
we had war going on in the Middle East - with groups fighting about whose imaginary invisible person in the sky was better that the other one - killing each other, killing babies and toddlers etc.
So, off the group go - they fly somewhere and they are gone - say maybe 50 years or 70 years.
They come back --------- and they come back to find that the same people on earth are still fighting because each mob thinks that their invisible invented imaginary person in the sky is still better than the other mob's invisible invented imaginary person in the sky
what would the space crew think and do?
personally - if it were me ------------------- I'd want to lock the doors and turn around and go back out - to 'anywhere but there'
I reckon that's why aliens haven't dropped in to say hello -------------- they look at each other when they flyby and say 'wtf is that?'
let's get outta here - we'll come back when they're dead
