Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen

"Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen" is an aria from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera "Die Zauberflöte" (The Magic Flute). The title is often translated to English as "Hell's Vengeance Boils in My Heart" or "The Wrath of Hell is Burning in My Heart." The character who sings this aria is the Queen of the Night, a prominent and powerful yet malevolent figure in the opera.
The aria is sung by the Queen of the Night in Act II of "Die Zauberflöte." In this dramatic and fiery aria, the Queen expresses her intense anger and determination to have her daughter Pamina kill Sarastro, the high priest, as an act of revenge.
This aria is one of the most famous and frequently performed pieces from "Die Zauberflöte" and is often excerpted in various contexts outside of the opera. Mozart's "The Magic Flute" is known for its blend of comedy, fantasy, and Masonic symbolism, and the character of the Queen of the Night, along with her aria "Der Hölle Rache," adds a layer of drama and intensity to the overall narrative.
