As I say it's just a minority, for example there was a group of people burning the aboriginal flag a week ago, an aboriginal flag being vandalised with a swastiska in June, calls to boo the welcome to country in the AFL finals, and I am sure there are some other examples, yes a few were using the "no" campaign as an excuse for racism, but most people did the right thing and kept it respectful. And like you say a few of the Yes people were also guilty of labelling all No people as racist, tearing down Vote No campaign posters was also wrong, so there were wrongs on both sides, it did bring out the nasty in a few people, but majority did the right thing.
Either way the vote went down in a landslide and it was a waste of taxpayer dollars, it should have been worded a lot better, only more details came out about it at the end, and it still wasn't made that clear. Albo never was a great communicator though.
