glad top read that Leaper.... likely that you've missed my posts on nuclear. I'm in favour of SMR tech if it proves economically viable but it won't be available till at least 2035. I'm also an advocate for Aus developing a nuclear waste facility with recycling, university training and community education as its primary functions.
my objections to large scale nuclear is primarily cost of commissioning and cost to consumers. its much more expensive than renewable energy. and renewable is capable of meeting future needs according to expert opinion. CSIRO Gencost is not "unreliable" as Dud said. thats only his rhetoric.
so why are you so seeming hardline on nuke?
