"The Coalition has long attacked Labor as reckless with taxpayer funds but if Labor can land not one but two budget surpluses (something the Coalition failed to achieve when it was in power) it will go some way towards countering its critics — not that they'll ever concede that.While the government won't say it publicly, a second surplus this financial year looks increasingly certain.
