    Why waste your time here? For years....

    Anyway, that damn inflation is coming down steadily, jobless rate still under 4% and a housing shortage...

    I am putting rent up in 55 days, to keep up with the market. Great tenant's now in 2nd year, kid's at the local primary school etc.

    Now they gross about 100k pa year being part time him full-time (I'd assume family tax benefits etc) so pretty good, they're really happy.

    Only 10km further out of town they could buy for 400k but choose to rent my place (because of existing infrastructure, close to their parents etc).

    Totally their choice, everyone is happy. It's not all doom and gloom out there, life continues outside of the property thread.
