I find the current immigration policy a conundrum:
We encourage thousands of people, many of who whom can't speak our lingua franca, English, and are often illiterate, whilst simultaneously sending thousands of jobs overseas (if you don't believe me just ring your Telco provider to resolve a problem or undertake an installation as I was forced to do approx. 18 months ago).
And I see no difference, in this regard, from either of the two major political parties.
