yes, this is true... they are designed to accumulate shares at various prices to achieve an average holding before they execute a sell order (whether short or long)..

A bot algorithm can be set to accumulate say $10,000 worth of shares over a period of time, creating a good average.. accumulation at its finest...

Personally I'm watching IMU like a hawk... There are some huge retail holders in play here, with massive holdings... One thing is for sure, when ever something worthy is announced the SP is going to have a sever re-rate, whether up or down... personally I think re-rate will be way up..

Hard thing in the over all market sentiment however is all this talk of recessions, war, new world order, bla bla bla... so down side if such sentiment locks in there will be ruthless selling regardless of re-rate.. IMO there will be some serious trigger fingers if this spikes.. Bull markets have had a serious good run for the last few years, nervous times ahead I think... don't have a crystal ball, but there is definitely some nervousness round...

In the mean time, IMU continues to consolidate in the current tight zones... soon enough we will break out of this sideways action... tic tok...
