HER-Vaxx has completed Ph2, PD1-Vaxx has just started Ph2 this year and CF33 and Azer-Cel is schedule to complete Ph1/b end of this year so yes they are many years away from even getting their IP to Ph3 completion which is why investors in biotech start-up stock tend to invest in them for a T/O by BP as the IP advance in development.
Usually, only BP will have the fund and resource to complete Ph3 clinical trial but CF33 seem to be very different so it could follow a different path to commercialisation like Azer-Cel so both might not need 5 years but a few years from Ph2.
