So all this waffle about the use of proxies has never been an issue between Iran and Israel…it just became a routine event between between these 2 nations. Iran considered that the attack on its embassy as Israel overstepping the mark, and felt justified in attacking Israel, probably as a reprisal for political consumption for the Iranian people. Hopefully it doesn’t escalate any further as nations will loss the luxury of sitting on the fence, being forced to back a nation.

I think the Islamic Republic's proxies are a factor, whether you like to admit it or not. I doubt you'd find too many Israelis (or others) agreeing with your assertion they're 'not an issue'. You might also be surprised at what many Iranian people think.
