I'm sure we all aware of this here ....but this aspect interests me

savvy move by Biden IMO .......there was no damage done by Iran .....in fact they rather made fools of themselves
any retaliation by Israel would be for show ......but could end up being part of a cycle of escalation
Don't get me wrong ....some things require a response .....but this doesn't and the risks are not worth it .

Reminds me of the Archduke of Austria being killed in Serbia as being the trigger for WW1 ...... a completely ridiculous escalation and then application of treaty alliances .
Big powers need to choose carefuly how they support smaller powers .....when it is strictly needed and when not .

Netanyahu's method of dealing with Palestinians btw has been being tried for a very long time now .....and is demonstrably NOT working ......if Israel truly want peace and security they need to get rid of Netanyahu and find a BETTER WAY !
