in fact he found that there was Semitic genetic links but also decided that the genome supported the khazar theory despite conflicting evidence and other studies that suggest little link with Caucasian people (and no actual khazar genetic data)
Jews are one of the most studied groups genetically and all of them show links to the Middle East. What is also clear is that they show evidence of the effects of being hounded from one country to the next. The ghettos in Ancient Rome may well have fed the lineage of many Jews but they still retain Semitic lines.
you do realise that good sense with small populations is to marry out of that group don’t you. So inevitably as Jews moved from one country to another they quite likely married locals.
on the other hand 15% Palestinians appear to have come from sub Sahara Africa m. shall we discount those Palestines as well ?
