What I don't understand about these renewables is, for example, back in October 2023 AEMO was bragging about a 71% drop in wholesale electricty cost comared to 2022. The champion excuse was renewables at ~40% of supply (not sure if that's instantaneous capacity or watt-hours)
How does that reduction translate into today's power bills and who's telling fibs?
