..that's the misconception. It does not matter if the Dow hit 38k all time high, many stocks big and small have collapsed or gone nowhere over the past 5 years.
..even so called recession-proof stocks, Costa Group, Domino's Pizza, and many that had made multi-bags like IMU, LTR gave them back.
..its what you buy, when you buy and when you sell that truly matters. Buying the right stock at the wrong time or failing to sell before it tanks are just as painful as buying or selling the wrong stock at the wrong time. Our rewards we reap are based on our actions or inactions, much less where the Dow goes.
...sure there's money to be made, but it is easier to swim when the tide isn't against you.
