Recall those days when I commented that gold equities follow equities lower even when gold price moves higher, especially when the equity market falls quite notably, like tonight?
Well, not anymore. GDX is up +2.68% taking Gold's +1.73% lead.
There's a time to trade gold/silver shares, and there's a time to invest for longer in gold/silver shares, I think we're now in the latter stage.
That said, if we get an ugly market correction, all bets are off with all equities, and ETFs would be a safer place to hide.
