I put a lot of miles on a SWB Landrover and one of the original Landcruisers imported by Sir Leslie Theiss. The first was better in the bush; the Cruiser with its longer WB and only three ratios was better on the road. Sadly, the later versions of both have become Toorak Tractors; only really suited for recreational use.
