Had he attacked men the number of dead would have been much fewer, imo.

I'm sure he would have liked to have stabbed the guy with the bollard or those holding chairs... but as we know he didn't.

His first victim was a baby.

The number of casualties was his aim, and those less likely to fight back were his target.
