Is negative gearing govt interfering or not laiseez-faire?
I don’t mind some govt involvement if they are providing shelter to some who many need it ie disability etc or giving welfare that will hopefully stop somebody breaking into my home and also knowing that full employment is inflationary. But if the money cost ie negative gearing which is meant to help with supply isn’t working then why bother?
Supposedly only one in 30 houses that are negatively geared are new properties
