Purchaser can be the govt who does not have shareholders clamouring for their profits to increase at the expense of the customer.

For example the German social housing approach works like a charm compared to other western countries and thier growing tent cities.

Capitalism left unchecked results in this sort of thing >

Plus, other fast-food chains becoming unviable as the minimum wage increases make them become unprofitable. USA politicians upped the minimum wage to make it possible for the workers there to have some chance pf paying the rent which has gone through the roof. When the workers can't pay the rent despite working full time you know the system, such as it is, is broken.

Interest rates being too low combined with bankers reducing their lending criteria have led to fools like Bunn paying for properties yielding only 3% rents or less rather than the known historical sustainable rate of 6%. This is not smart investing at all, but a speculative excess made possible by a lack of suitable governing oversight to reign such in.

The fix is there for all to see. Those leeching off others ( including our PM ) of course don't want to admit such but want to continue parasitizing others.
