This feeble ACT prosecution is not an exception but a #MeToo-driven malaise being seen across many jurisdictions. The NSW DPP is currently reviewing 400 sexual assault cases after growing protest from judges re flimsey evidence.

" but I don’t know how long before such drugs take effect.": rohypnol; 30 min. temazepam; 15 min. plenty of other drugs in liquid form take effect more quickly, eg ketamine and GHB.
