Logf**ker Lehrmann filed a defamation case against Network 10 and journalist Lisa Wilkinson. 10 offered a settlement before trial which Lehrmann refused. 10 and Wilkinson argued a truth defence. Justice Lee upheld 10 and Wilkinson’s defence of truth. Lee had to decide whether Bruce went to work to look at sub contracts or had sex. He decided that sex occurred. He then had to decide whether sex was consensual. He decided it wasn't. Bruce previously accepted settlements from others such as the ABC and News who decided to settle to avoid huge legal fees. By not accepting an offer from 10 and Wilkinson Bruce might be landed with their legal fees.
