by the way punters, from everything I've read, the car industry is still leaning towards LFP batteries and Lithium Carbonate is the preferred 'go-to' for LFP. All in all, whether it's hydroxide or carbonate it doesn't matter but with EV's leaning towards LFP it may see a better price recovery for lithium carbonate. It is possible to make LFP with hydroxide but using carbonate removes one processing step ie: it's more cost effective. (excuse the last attachment for AGL).
