yes it’s systematic because we have 3/4’s of the countries population located in 3 cities. Aussies ideologically are attached to freestanding houses and not vertical living like Asia.
So unless you can suddenly change Aussies ideological drive to own a freestanding home, then diversifying economic development areas by increasing infrastructure investment and incentivising corporate employment in the regions is the best solution long term, and in the short term it would be increasing supply through state and LGA land release, decrease DA red tape and increase access to capital
