Changes must be brought in by the government of the day and there is no way that either the Libs or Labor are going to change a system that they can milk to their hearts content
Speaking to people in general I have come to the conclusion that 98% of people do not understand politics, the voting system and if they can change it
They are already at the stage of "it's beyond us so we just have to put up with it "
After the last election when a friend was complaining about Labor and the mess that has ensured and I said why did you not vote independent ?
He answer was I did not want Pauline as Prime Minister !!!
I asked her if she believed that her single vote out of the millions who voted was capable of putting Pauline in the Lodge and she said well it could be !!
Until we get sufficient true independents in the parliament there will be no change to the merry go round of pigs with their snouts deep in the trough
So educate your friends about voting and the system that we have
