If Morgans really believe that ( KAR is a takeover target) , why don't they orchestrate such a takeover? In the same way if the Millionaires Bank believe that Karoon is valued at $5+ why don't they buy 10% at these prices? Why didn't they buy at 38c?
After all MaC Bank own the crystal ball.
Perhaps some of the figures scare prospective bidders/buyers even Mac Bank.
Accumulated losses of $625 Millions , Shareholders funds of $280 Million against 556 Million shares, what is the NTA of KAR?work commitments within 1 year $110 Millions and the massive contingent commitment of $200 Million plus.
What is the real cost of Bauna?
KAR didn't make a profit at a margin of $50 a barrel and if you look at say a margin of $80 per barrel it is still hard to see real dollars dropping on the profit line.
I tried to fathom KAR's derivative position but just gave up.
