There is nothing like sitting on ground next door to someone who wants to expand operations,especially underground.
Even better if their is a little old pit that's had a bit of gold taken from it that needs a AWJ rip out of 200kt of ore for a few million $ more.
Not worth the big boys time even if they have found it in most cases.
Take NST's big pit,their only real expansion option for bulk feed in the future is to go deeper,through cut backs in areas holding all their low grade stockpiles,IMHO which is why the want them gone as soon as possible and then possibly under their existing plant areas to go wider and then get deeper.

Just my thoughts of course.
