newbie to OVR so my opinions could be wrong and please feel free educating me on OVR.
My take:
- The transparency is quite low
- They have a prospective zinc project but they may need someone who has past success to push it forward (and promotion)
- They should sell the Australian gold project and to retain the NSR and to focus on the zinc project
- They should dual listing in Canada as well
- They should drill more and increase the tonnage of the zinc project
- The NPV of the project is ~ $100 M. Is that based on spot prices? They should offer price sensitivity and project IRR. At this moment, that doesn't cut it with $100 M NPV vs $200 M + capex. However, with higher base metals prices + more resources + lower capex through cut costs (they suggested they could cut ~$60 M in capex), a capable management may make this project workable.
- Worst case scenario for shareholders - OVR sold the zinc project for cash
Any comments? Can anyone let me know hows the infrastructure of the zinc project? Thanks!
