Sorry but where did you get this announcements destroy charts from? Announcements do influence perceptions and perceptions then influence price action, which then lead to movements up or down over a shorter or longer period of time. As I suggested earlier the conditions for the new funding package aren’t that wonderful. So on the day of the announcement we first saw a quick rise in SP => relieve rally that funding was done! Then on the same day a drop in SP started as people digested the conditions and that it still would take time for the approval.
Now IMCO the near time timeframe is swing around again in LTR’s favour as the banks and funders should be nearing their approval process and/or possibly a better not so honourees alternative could be found/negotiated and implemented. If I’m not mistaken, there was a hint of this possibly occurring in the funding announcement …
