the argument winning point for keeping cash will be when cash is removed
things will hum along ok --------- until they don't
and when they don't - because of a long network outage or massive widespread power outage
commerce will stop ------------- when it stops dead in the water for weeks - banks will be clambering for government to introduce a thing - called cash
(or something similar on plastic - anonymous plastic, that can be used without connection or mains power)
