    In various scenarios of 'capper orders' being used most times it's to conform the SP to maintain a predetermined trading channel. Much of the time (and I am not saying that this is factually the case here) cappers are used in the run up to the Merger/Buyout/Takeover or before a material equity issue activity (CR).

    The last one is of particular importance because the brokers negotiate the range for the raise and then the SP is artificially kept low to allow the participating parties to raise at the lowest point and then almost guaranteed good returns on the placement. Proceed with caution.
