I take them each year .....seldom get the flu , cannot remember when I last did
yes , they aren't terribly effective in stopping the flu but do to some extent ......and do give that extra immunity to the body in dealing with it if caught which is the main reason but as many people as possible getting the shot will decrease the incidence in the population
I have never had a GP who deliberately gave me bad advice , and they aren't stupid ......haven't come across one telling me vacination is a bad thing .
wonder how it is that you peole all imagine you have more understanding than experts there is an old saying that applies here I'm sure ....." a little knowledge is dangerous "
