Nufarm released their results this morning and profit up 3 to 7% (depending what figure you take) but more importantly, gross margin improving 1.2%
How does this compare with Elders? Does it help clarify if the results were an "elders problem" or a "market problem"?
Elders saw their agchem division increase margin by 2.1% (as per the half yearly presentation) which is almost double that of Nufarm's - seems good, an outperformance of the competitor by Elders for this particular business unit
Is that a fair comparison?
