Not yet. Not due for another 6 months. But I have paid the house off, have a new EV6 and cash in the bank to pay the CGT. At this point, selling and paying the ~23% capital gains vs the ~30% drop in the value of the shares since then seems to have been the right decision. Who know what it will look like in the future but if i have learnt anything over the last year is that when sitting on big gains, I need to take some off the table otherwise they can disappear quickly (looking at you CXO, IVZ and EXR). And having the house paid off gives me the most important thing - freedom.
