It did kick in, just not a 20 Knt plus breeze.

If a High is moving into the Bight, we get the Doctor but we also get the troughs pushing down from the north between the start of the year and approximately April.

These Troughs reduce the impacts of our Doctor and we get hot winds from the north/east and the humidity, jumps.

Humidity is something that the East Coaster’s should know about but they probably don’t understand that our SW doesn’t suffer from high humidity like they do.

It’s the same on every continent, east coast is lush and humid quite a bit and the west is dry and hotter.

The thing with Gero (like most places) is that the airports are placed away from the population density areas and at a guess I reckon the Gero airport is around 8-10 kilometres from the coast.

Obviously it’s out on the flats and behind the first set of hills and just a bit to the south of the City as it is required to be quite a big place with many acres of concrete and asphalt on the ground to ensure the safety of the vehicles that use it.

The airport is also a convenient place to locate the BoM station because there’s not much in the way of people to upset the balance of their reading’s.

People cause Co2 and airports are Kool.
In fact they’re that cool they don’t even produce EHI effects on BoM recording stations (if you believe that you’ll believe in Safe and Effective).
