Pity the town is where it is.

I just can't see this being mined, it sits right above the town

About 130 international and local environmental and heritage groups have signed the petition in opposition.

Those groups will probably go to the international courts to stop this, which even if it's permitted, could be bogged down for years in legal appeals.

It's a good project, and Europe wants it's own Lithium, pity this is located where it is though.

The price has been rising, and the market cap is modest, so it will be interesting to see what other actions the protest groups get involved with.

If it does go ahead, then it will have to be the cleanest and most environmentally friendly mining project in the world, which quite frankly, would not be a bad thing. I'll watch with interest.
