Xi tells Blinken - fairly close to what Kevin Rudd has been saying - not carbon copy - but, close enough on many issues

America is the only kid in this block who wants trouble ------------- the only one. Australia has backed the wrong horse in America ------------- America is trouble, can't be trusted and has already brought us trouble, war and terrorism --------------- and if we stick with it ---------- it will continue.

It appears that Kevin Rudd has consistently argued that China and the USA should be partners, not enemies. Here are the key points:Rudd has stated that the future of the U.S.-China relationship "is not predetermined" and that "it is for the two countries' leaders to shape" in order to "prevent the relationship deteriorating into a long and crisis, or even conflict."

He has challenged the idea that the U.S. and China "are now locked into some sort of irreversible and increasingly fractious zero-sum game" and argued that the two countries need "a shared view of how the two powers should coexist."

Rudd has advocated for "mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation" as the "right way for major countries to live with each other in this era."
    3
He has emphasized that the differences between China and the U.S. "were no obstacles to us breaking the ice and establishing diplomatic ties, no obstacles to us deepening cooperation based on common interests, still less to us making joint contributions to world peace and prosperity."
    3
In 2009, Rudd, as the Prime Minister of Australia, urged Americans not to view China as an enemy but rather as a country offering "huge economic opportunities."
    5
This suggests Rudd has long promoted a cooperative, rather than adversarial, relationship between China and the U.S.In summary, the search results indicate that Kevin Rudd has consistently argued that China and the USA should be partners, not enemies, and has advocated for mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation between the two countries.
