To follow up from my post yesterday describing the Piedmont , Here is the exact verbiage that was pulled from Page 6 of the 2021 Sayona Mining Annual Report.
Piedmont Lithium’s investment in
Sayona, as announced in January
2021, has effectively underwritten
the future of our Abitibi lithium hub.
Under the agreement, Piedmont will
acquire up to 60,000 tonnes per
annum or 50% of Sayona Québec’s
production, for its operation in North
Carolina, USA.
This is also meant to be shipped to North Carolina for use at Piedmont facility or for their dispursement to their agreement with Tesla or others.
