Pls shorted, page-739

Can someone please explain to me how 18% shorts will be able to cover in an orderly fashion?

I cannot fathom how they can possibly buy back that volume of shares without causing a massive spike in value. I
mean it's 1/5th of shares issued!

They are obviously not stupid and must have a strategy?

It seem to me that it is now a huge risk for them given the volume alone- to be looking to buy back that many shares. There just seems too many shares sold to be repurchased without drastic effect. Have too many jumped on the short train? Are they now stuck?

If retail buyers have soaked up the shares sold short - where the hell are they going to find the volume needed to return to the 18% to the shareowners? Obviously once buyback starts in ernest price will increase, retail will hold their 'new' purchases and seek the largest gain possible?

A squeeze seems inevitable to me given the huge numbers. It's almost worth buying more because of this alone- despite any coy valuation, fundamentals or future plans!?!

I realise many sold short at $4.odd but
surely I am missing something here?
Have they traded between themselves?

Is there a set timeframe for returning to the owner when you borrow shares to short?

Anyone inside this (shorting/options etc) business that can shed some light for me?

I can't be the only one confused?!?

I've asked this before with no answer - can anyone please advise - what is the path out for them?
